Dopo i suoi studi alla China Textile University a Shanghai, Uma Wang ha fatto il suo debutto nella moda nel 1996 come stilista per diversi brand locali. Nel 2005 Uma presenta la sua prima collezione ready-to-wear.

L’esclusiva sfilata-evento si è tenuta sabato 22 settembre 2012 nella storica location settecentesca la Rotonda della Besana con il Patrocinio del Comune di Milano. In chiusura si è tenuta l’esibizione di un duo di jazzisti di eccezione.
